Long County Board of Elections and Registrar
The Board of Elections of Long County functions as the superintendent of elections and conducts primaries and elections in accordance with State Law. The Board performs all services and functions necessary to support the election process. The Board establishes boundaries for voting precincts, secures facilities to serves as polling locations for these precincts, recruits, selects, hires, trains and assigns personnel to serve as poll officials. The board also conducts qualification for candidates, develops ballots for elections, acquires, maintains, prepares and delivers equipment used to conduct elections, publicizes notices as required by law and maintains elections records.
Schedule of Qualifying Fees for Long County Elected Officials 2026
Pursuant to O.C.G.A. §21-2-131(a)(1)(A), notice is hereby given that the Long County Board of Commissioners voted in their regular meeting on January 12, 2026, to set the qualifying fees for candidates for the May 19, 2026 General Primary/Nonpartisan Election.
Long County Board of Commissioners (District 2, 3) - $290.00
Qualifying dates are Monday, March 2, 2026 – Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and Friday, March 6, 2026 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Long County Elections and Registration Office, located at 75 W. Academy Street Ludowici, GA 31316.
