In an event of a hurricane disaster and hurricane preparedness, this storm surge map provides NOAA’s SLOSH Model storm surge probabilities. These storm-produced flooding estimates are derived from calculated storm scenarios and elevation data. During a hurricane event, check-in regularly with the NOAA Hurricane Center, National Weather Service, and your local emergency management authorities for real-time flooding and evacuation updates and instructions.
