PROPOSAL #2026-02: Long County Courthouse Repair

INTRODUCTION: The Long County Board of Commissioners is inviting sealed bids from qualified contractors to handle all necessary repairs and supply materials to address water damage at the Long County Courthouse. The goal of this project is to repair and clean up the main floor of the Courthouse.
PROJECT SCOPE: The chosen contractor will provide all labor, equipment, fuel, materials, supervision, and any other items needed to complete the repairs.
PRE-BID/PROPOSAL MEETING: A pre-bid meeting will be held for interested parties to review courthouse damages and ask questions at 10:00 a.m. local time on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Long County Clerk of Court Office, located on the main floor of the Courthouse, 459 McDonald Street, P.O. Box 476, Ludowici, Georgia 31316.

IDENTIFICATION: All proposals for this RFP must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the following information in the lower left-hand corner: PROPOSAL #2026-02: Long County Courthouse Repair. Proposals must be submitted in hard copy, one original and two copies, by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2026, to the Long County Board of Commissioners Office at 468 South McDonald Street, P.O. Box 476, Ludowici, Georgia 31316.
The sealed bids will be opened in public at the LCBOC on September 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The Bid Packet is available on the Long County Board of Commissioners website and at the front reception area of the Commissioners Office.

CONSULTING SERVICES FOR IMPACT FEE DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION

The Long County Board of Commissioners is accepting proposals from qualified professional consultants for this project. The deadline for receipt of all proposals is August 31, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. Prospective firms shall file all documents necessary to support its proposal.

Firms are responsible for the actual delivery of submittals during normal business hours to the Long County Board of Commissioners, 468 S. McDonald Street, Ludowici, Georgia 31316.

An ORIGINAL PROPOSAL along with THREE (3) copies, and any supporting documents, must be submitted in a sealed clearly marked envelope. Late proposals will be rejected.
Proposals will be recorded as received at the Long County BOC on August 31, 2026, at 4:00 P.M.
